About St. Vincent

St Vincent can be found in the Caribbean sea, between Saint Lucia and Grenada. With stunning white sandy beaches and beautiful blue waters, it's a perfect place to relax and take in the Caribbean atmosphere. The island's capital - Kingstown - is a more lively place to explore, with pretty cobbled streets.

There are also cannons, a signal station and a wonderful panoramic view of the northern Grenadines, the capital Kingstown and beyond.

Visit the Botanical Gardens – one of the oldest in the western hemisphere. The Gardens stand on 20 acres and are a must for any keen gardener or nature enthusiast. The aviary is also well worth a visit as it is home to many of the local species of parrots including the national bird, the Amazona Guildingii.

Your tour continues to the Mesopotamia Valley, commonly known as the ‘Food Basket’, with its rich and fertile crops and fruit trees. Within the Valley are some banana plantations, which were once the mainstay of the island’s economy.
