All this being said, the undisputed stars of the show when it comes to visiting Fiji are of course the beaches.
Long sweeping beaches and perfect desert islands ringed by sand are commonplace. Fine white sands and glowing turquoise waters mean it’s a good idea to pack some strong sunglasses to avoid that glare!
Below the water, Fiji's coral reefs simply teem with life. Divers will be in their element with a huge variety of sea life including dolphins, turtles, sharks, manta rays and a cornucopia of colourful reef fish to discover. The shallow waters also make it easy to explore without the need to strap on the scuba gear – just use a snorkel!
