Cruise with our Food Heroes


Get up close and personal with one of our Food Heroes and their celebrity chef friends as they cook up a feast on board

We love to eat well at P&O Cruises. From our buffets with something for everyone, to our famous curries, to fine dining restaurants for special treat nights, we’ve long had most bases covered for discerning foodies on board. But food-lovers now have an even more tempting offer: to join a cruise where some of the best chefs in the land have taken to the high seas to show off their skills, and teach you a kitchen secret or two.


P&O Cruises Food Heroes are master pâtissier Eric Lanlard, wine guru Olly Smith and legendary chef Marco Pierre White. Throughout the year they’ll be joining selected cruises, where you’ll get the chance to meet them, find out more about their amazing careers and pick their brains for culinary tips.


When one of our Food Heroes is on board, they’ll be eager to share their knowledge with you. Join them for hosted dinners, Q&A sessions, book signings, masterclasses and special Shore Excursions where they’ll give you the lowdown on the local cuisine (eat something light for breakfast!). You can even don an apron and get stuck in yourself if you book a two-hour cookery lesson on board Britannia – her state-of-the-art Cookery Club has room for 24 students, and special guest chefs will be joining all our Food Heroes to take classes and share their expertise.


A taster of what’s coming up…

An early summer cruise of France, Spain and Guernsey with cake-maker extraordinaire Eric Lanlard on board Britannia. Sharing a glass or two with Olly Smith as you tour the Med in October. If you love food, a Food Hero cruise is a wonderful way to top an already memorable holiday – the icing on the cake, if you will.
