About Bora Bora

So good, they named it twice, one visit may not be enough to appreciate all that this island paradise has to offer. However, it's a good place to start! With its jagged, saw-tooth profile of volcanic peaks providing an unforgettable backdrop to a seemingly endless succession of picture-perfect beaches, it's easy to see why James Cook christened the island the 'pearl of the Pacific'. The blindingly white stretches of sand and brilliant blue bays are perfect for relaxing, whilst the crystal clear waters make for superb snorkelling. Those of an active disposition may prefer a guided hike into the mountainous interior, offering a vantage point to fully appreciate Bora Bora's perfect panoramas.
